Volta M-Safe N4

Nema 4 IP66, remote mounted or non-area classified, Standard RTU, Solar or Grid Powered. Standard 12/24Vdc powered, Optional: 110/220Vac, or 480Vac 3Ph, Solar Grid Back Up or Autonomous Solar. Double Acting or Single Acting) Can Convert Double Acting Actuators to Fail Safe w/Onboard Battery system.

Can Convert Double Acting to Fail Safe w/Onboard Battery system. Onboard Calibration of 4-20mA input, feedback as well as accuracy calculation. D2 does not require loop power, it’s internally powere

HMI Interface

 All Models of Volta with exception of E-Safe Lite and BZ Includes a Viewable HMI Screen. 


Volta-BZ has Matrix Screen and uses Siemens TDE


M-Safe D2 is viewable through Explosion-Proof Glass as well as C1D2 Buttons for Full Functionality and Manual Operation without Opening the Enclosure.


E-Safe Lite Models have simple push button Open/Closed, Local/Remote with Status Lights.

Skid Mounted

All Volta Models with exception of E-Safe Lite come Skid Mounted. This allows for quicker install and commissioning. The skid also adds mass/weight to the control system providing a more stable installation. 


E-Safe Lite is direct mounted on the actuator like traditional, basic Electro-Hydraulics.

Exxon-Mobil Univis HVI 13 Hydraulic Fluid

  •  Characterized for its unusually high viscosity indexes. Univis 13 is engineered to maintain close viscosity control over wide temperature range applications. Because of its resistance to viscosity change, Univis HVI oils are recommended for hydraulic systems that are subject to wide temperature variations. Rated to -60C/-76F

Continuous monitoring and recording

of numerous parameters including valve position, hydraulic actuator pressure, and battery voltage. Partial stroke testing ensures reliability. The system is designed to allow the operator to read all inputs on the system locally as well as remotely via Modbus protocol.

Monitoring of the actuator pressure allows the system to adjust for pressure decreases due to temperature swings, automatically increasing the pressure and eliminating what is known as “valve creep” or false trips.

The low-power system operates on an internal 12-volt battery that is easily recharged using on-site power if available or solar panels for remote locations. Charging supply can be 12Vdc, 24Vdc, 120Vac, 220Vac, 480Vac or Self-Contained Solar.
